Cat Shaming

This is my brilliant and mischievously rotten 12 year old Bengal. Her name is Binija. I do believe a picture is worth a 1000 words. Here you go!

This is cat shaming at its best! It reads "I meowed through the entire season premiere of THE WALKING DEAD. My mom threatened that if I didn't shut up I will become a zombie extra on next week's episode.

Throwing the pigskin around...

Football season is in full swing, so I decided to post this oldie but a goodie. I made these adorable football decorations for Super Bowl XLVI, Giants versus Patriots. I am a Giants fan, so my decorations are little bias. The bright field goal was made from modeling clay, then painted. I can always count on my Cricut for amazing results. The cartridges I used were Cupcake Wrappers and Cricut Alphabet. The cupcakes were a decadent chocolate with vanilla butter cream frosting. I apologize for not having any pictures of all the food. I served the most desirable boneless buffalo wings with a homemade sauce and zesty ranch potato skins. We really enjoyed my fabulous sangria. Good food plus crazy friends makes for a very fascinating and sidesplitting time!! Of course we were very pleased with the outcome of the game!! Gotta love those awesome Manning brothers!!

Introducing SUPER BATMAN!!

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to a very vital super hero. Drum roll please...... Everyone give a huge hello to Super Batman a.k.a. my extremely imaginative daughter. She loves to play super hero dress up. Her favorites are Batman and Supper Buggy. The 411 on Supper Buggy; her nickname is Jada Bug, hence buggy. It started about a year ago, wanting to have her blankets tied around her shoulders as a "cape" and wearing my gel eye mask as a "mask". Once all suited up, she then proceeds to run around shouting "Supper Buggy".

Everyone I am pleased to present "Supper Buggy"

Isn't it nice to know that even super heroes can make the time to video skype with us mere mortals. Supper Buggy skyping with my bestie Mel.

Now let us move on to the awesome Batman. She absolutely adores this masked crusader. Hilarious fact, apparently we have been calling this hero by the wrong name. According to my daughter it is "Batmant". She over-pronounces the letter N and it sounds as if she is adding a T to it. Spoont, Moont, and Spider-mant, etc.  This is by far one of my favorite Jada quirks.

Who needs neighborhood crime watch when you have Batmant guarding the perimeter!

Howdy Y'all!!

This is officially my first blog post and it's a doozy!! My awesomely, brilliant daughter just turned 3 and we had a party for her this past Saturday. Guess who was the honoree theme for the party?!? I will give you a hint: LaLa LaLa LaLa LaLa Elmo's World!! Isn't he just adorable. Most of the decorations were made using the phenomenal Cricut machine. Oh how I love thee!! I manged to hustle up some scrumptious grubbage as well. Everyone had a blast and it was a huge hit. The only downer was my little one crashed and burned on her new batman tricycle. She received a road wound on her forehead as a parting gift. She is healing well and keeping up with her mischievous schedule. Please take a look-see at my photos and ask questions if ya got them!!

These were the most delicious and moist red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting ever...

These are mini oreo cheesecakes, DELECTABLE!! Enough said.

More insanely adorable Elmo!

This yummy grubbage includes: hawaiian ham and cheese sandwiches, bacon potato salad, and mac & cheese with a butter panko crust.

Last but definitely not least, the birthday girl and her infamous batman tricycle.
